Going Back to my Old School Chord Book

I picked up my guitar again today which I haven't done in ages, and started playing through some songs that I'd written out when in Middle School (when I first started fiddling around with trying to teach myself to play). With Hillsong and other new composers leading the worship stage today, I can't remember the last time I sang some of these songs- but they felt like they were prayers up to God from my heart that I couldn't articulate myself, so I was deeply thankful to be able to sing them up to Him instead. This song in particular stood out to me, every single word of every verse and chorus and has become the cry of my heart:

Light the Fire

I stand to praise you
But I fall to my knees
My spirit is willing
But my flesh is so weak

So light the fire (light the fire)
In my soul (in my weary soul)
Fan the flame (fan the flame)
Make me whole (make my spirit whole)
Lord you know (Lord you know)
Just where I've been (where I've been)
So light the fire in my heart again

I long to love You
But my heart is far away
You say you're near me
Teach my heart to seek Your face

I feel Your arms around me
As the power of your healing begins
Your Spirit moves through me
Like a mighty rushing wind
